Allama Iqbal History
Allam Sir Muhammad Iqbal was a poet,philosopher and politician born in Sialko,British India whose poetry in urdu,Arabic and Persain is considered to be among the greatest of the modern whose vision of an independent state for the Muslims of British India was to inspire the creation of pakistan.He is Commonly referred to as Allama Iqbal, Allam meaning ‘Scholar’ Iqbal was a strong propent of the political and spiritual revival of Islamic cicilistion acros the world.

Allma Iqbal was the great poet & philosopher and active political leader born at sialkot, punjab in 1877.He descended from a family of kashmiri brahmans, who had embraced islam about 300 years earlier.Allam Iqbal received his early education in Madrassa.Later he joined the sialkot Mission school, from where he passed his Matriculate Examination.In 1897 he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Goverment College Lahore.After two years he secured his Masters Degree and was appointed in the Oriental College, Lahore as a Lecturer of history.Philosophy
Allam Muhammad Iqbal Died on 21th April 1938 due to severe throat infection that lasted for
long till his Death.He will be remembered for good.

Allam Iqbal is Regarded as one of the most influential poet and scholar of the 20th century
throughout the Muslim world. His concept of Islamic revival did not only lead to the creation of
Pakistan, but also the Iranian Revolution which he had Prophesied. His works were also influential during
the breaking up of the central Asian former soviet republics, most of which were Muslim majority.
Allam Iqbal poetry has also translated into several European languages where his works were famous
during the early part of the 20th Century. He lives on through the various organizations dedicated
to his works throughout the world. He lives among Iran as one of the greatest Persian Poets ever,
in Pakistan as the greatest urdu poet of all time and is regarded as the national poet and hero,
who was the bases of the creation of the first Muslim Nation.
