Gesu e   tabdar ko aur bhi tabadar kar
Hosh o khirad shikar kar qalb o nazar shikar kar
Ishq bhi ho hijab mein husan bhi ho hijab mein
Ya to khud ashkar ho ya mujhe ashkar kar

Tu hai muhit e be karan mein hu zara si aabju
Ya mujhe ham karnar kar ya mujhe be kanar kar

Mein ho sadaf to tere haath mere gunhar ki aabru
Mein ho khazaf to tu mujh gauhar e shahvar kar

Naghma e nau bahar agr mere nasib mein na ho
Us dam  e nim soz ko tairk e bahar kar

Bagh e bashist se mujhe hukum e safar diya tha kyu
Kar e jahan daraz hai ab mira intizar kar

Roz e hisab jab mira pesh ho daftar e amal
Ap bhi sharmsar ho  mujh ko bhi sharmsar kar

Bright are your tresses brighten them even more

You lustrous tresses my dear lord further illuminate
The  power of my sense heart and consciousness negate

Love too is now clandestine and beauty too is veiled
You either should reveal me or should come in open state

You are a mighty ocean i a droplet of no size
Eithe make me too  immense or then assimilate

If  i an oyster be my pearls dignity’s  with thee
A pearl of regal luster if a grain  of sand create

Turn this fleeting moment to a day of joyous spring
If melodies od spring are not ordained to be my fate

Why did you bid me leave from paradise for now
My work is ye unfinished here so you will have to wait

On the  day of reckoning when you behold my slate
You will shame me and yourself you will humiliate
